We are taking our show to a whole new level with HOME FEST 2020 at our NEW LOCATION located on Highway 32/57 in New Holstein.

Home Fest 2020 not only showcases products and services of the home building and remodeling industries, but includes informational sessions, NEW themed days with daily activities and a NEW focus on helping you choose the best options whether you are a new homeowner, maintaining your home, building your dream home or looking at down-sizing.

Saturday, March 7 – SENIOR DAY
Vendor resources and educational sessions to assist you with life’s transitions. Downsizing? Find out how your goods can help Habitat for Humanity.

11:00 am: Saving and Investing 20/20: A Changing Environment. See your finances more clearly. We will cover the current “saving” environment, a simplified approach to calculating your retirement savings, and a structured approach to plan for your future. - Presented by Bradley L. Ruh, ChFC® CFP®, Action Financial Strategies
Noon: Low Maintenance and Small Space Gardening - Learn the secret to gardening in small areas and how to incorporate vertical ideas for your garden such as trellises, containers & louvers. Byron will also give you tips on creating a time friendly garden using low maintenance plants. – Presented by Byron Hacker, Master Gardener
1:00 pm: Habitat for Humanity - Help Families Build Strength, Stability and Self Reliance Through Shelter – Presented by Gary Roehrig, Project Site Manager, Habitat for Humanity, Fond du Lac County Chapter.

Sunday, March 8 – NEW HOMEOWNER DAY
Vendor resources and educational sessions to help you navigate all aspects of new home ownership, from maintaining and updating your first home to building your dream home.

11:00 am: Are you Ready for the Next Step? From pre-approval through closing day, find out how to navigate the mortgage process. – presented by Kevin Moehring, Collins State Bank
Noon: Gardening on a Budget – Landscaping can be expensive. You can create a beautiful and stylish space using plants that have a high-impact in your landscape and choosing plants with longevity in mind. – Presented by Byron Hacker, Master Gardener
1:00 pm: New Homeowner? Here are a few things you should know! – This presentation will cover the pros and cons of new and pre-owned homes, improvements to reduce your maintenance and energy costs, and how to choose a reputable contractor for your next project. – Presented by Timothy Mathes, Mathes Construction & Gutter Co.

High School Tech Ed Raffle: Home Fest 2020 will showcase our area High School Tech Ed programs. Students will raffle projects that they designed and constructed. 100% of the proceeds will go back to their school! Kiel High School Tech Ed students have built a playhouse and Chilton High School Tech Ed students have built a glider. Support High School Tech Ed programs by purchasing raffle tickets at the Expo!

Concessions: New Holstein Art Club and the New Holstein National Art Honor Society will be selling concessions at this year’s Home Show. The menu includes ham & cheese sandwiches, nachos, chips, soda, water, hot dogs and dessert!
